Jeri Gumbinnner, Realtor® with Water Pointe Realty Group, participated in the Mother’s Day Gift Bag Project as outreach co-chair of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church of Stuart, located on East Ocean Boulevard.
The week prior to Mother’s Day, 152 packages were delivered to women in Martin County through 8 local agencies: Martin County Healthy Start, SafeSpace, Place of Hope, Family Promise, Care Net, Compassion House, Mary’s Home, and Safe Families for Children.
With the combined generosity, love, and servant hearts of the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church congregation, of which Jeri is a member, 25 volunteers were able to lovingly prepare and distribute the bags to mothers and women in need throughout our community.
Thank you, St. Mary’s, for helping remind so many mothers and families that they are seen, loved, and not alone. Opportunities like this are why Jeri loves to be involved with her church and the community. St. Mary’s Episcopal Church lives by the philosophy of “Growing into Jesus, Reaching Out with Love”.
