Water Pointe Celebrates with Martin County Realtors® of the Treasure Coast

Water Pointe Realty Group took great pride in participating in the Martin County Realtors® of the Treasure Coast Annual Awards & Installation Luncheon. This year’s event was held at Harbour Ridge Yacht & Country Club on September 20, 2024. A theme of “Change…” was appropriate as the new panel of directors were sworn in. The traditional passing of the gavel included past Presidents Debra Duvall, Bill Dean, and Dave Derrenbacker (not in attendance), to the new 2025 president, Harbour Ridge Realty’s Christy Bearse.

Water Pointe’s Managing Broker Bill Dean will be serving on the MCRTC Board of Directors as Secretary-Treasurer for the 2025 term. He was also recognized for his work with the association this past year, while Broker/Partner Chris Clifford received the 2024 Distinguished Service Award. “An award fully deserved,” Dean said about Clifford. “With over 40 years in this industry, his contributions, experience, and ethical work is truly a significant contribution to the Realtor® Association.”

Water Pointe Realty Group has a long history of supporting MCRTC, with several of its agents having served on the board and recognized by the association. The firm now boasts three past presidents, three recipients of the Community Service Award, seven Realtors® of the Year as having been WPRG agents, and now five recipients of the Distinguished Service Award with the most recent addition of Chris Clifford.

“To have two of our Broker/Partners receive awards out of 800+ members that belong to the Martin County Realtors® of the Treasure Coast is truly remarkable,” said Dan Brady, a Broker Associate with the firm. “Bill Dean and Chris Clifford are both giants in our industry (both over 6’ tall!) and they bring such a historical, ethical approach to our Water Pointe agents and to the members of the MCRTC”.
