Water Pointe Realty Group is thrilled to welcome Gina Lee as its newest Realtor® to the firm.

As a third-generation native Floridian, Gina is carrying on the legacy of raising her own family in the beautiful Sunshine State. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2009 from the International Academy of Design & Technology in Tampa, she and her husband moved to Royal Palm Beach to start their family. In 2012, they migrated to Martin County for the highly sought-after public school system. As a mother, Gina intimately understands the importance of finding the perfect home for raising a family.

Gina’s incredible entrepreneurial spirit led her to start a successful branding and marketing firm immediately after college. It lead the charge for content creation and paid advertising in the early days of social media. With unprecedented passion and work ethic, she went on to lead a noteworthy career in digital marketing that included consulting for global brands and speaking on national platforms. For over twelve years her company served a variety of different industries including restaurants, musicians, models, pharmaceutical and medical companies as well as real estate brands and sales agents.

Providing marketing services to real estate agents for over a decade was the inspiration for Gina’s career shift into real estate sales. She is a forward-thinking, innovative agent with diverse experience and expertise of the local communities she serves. As the real estate industry evolves to become more innovative and tech-savvy, so does Gina. Known as a “goal-getter” by her peers, she is passionate about creating an exceptional experience for her clients. With genuine enthusiasm, her commitment from the beginning to end of a transaction and beyond, is unparalleled.

Gina currently lives in Palm City with her husband Michael, a retired captain for Martin County Fire Rescue. He also happens to be her go-to videographer and certified drone pilot. Gina & Mike lead an active lifestyle with their two daughters and two rescue dogs. When she is not serving her clients, she loves exploring Florida and beyond through travel, food and photography/videography with her family.

Water Pointe Realty Group’s story began in the summer of 2002 when two friends came together with similar goals and philosophies.

Dave Derrenbacker and Mark Eble, who each owned independent real estate brokerages at the time, regularly talked about the dreams they had for their respective companies and how they wanted to grow. They both wanted to train and retain the best associates available, to work as a team with other service providers, and to offer the outstanding service that their clientele desired. Dave and Mark had hopes to lead a firm they were proud of and that associates would be proud to be affiliated with – so why not do it together?

What started as a casual conversation quickly turned into regular meetings at Harry & the Natives in Hobe Sound. With a desire to create a better company, and frustrated by a lack of professionalism within the industry, the two brokers decided to team up and bring the assets of their individual firms together to create a new boutique real estate firm. On January 1, 2003, they officially merged to create Water Pointe Realty Group.

“I am extremely proud of what we have built together,” said Mark Eble. “When I think about how I’ve spent half of my 40-year real estate career developing one of the area’s best independent real estate companies, the things that stand out to me are the friendships that have been created within this fantastic group of like-minded people.”

The company has grown tremendously through the years. In 2018, it welcomed two additional brokerages under the Water Pointe Realty Group umbrella, making its stance in the community even more profound. The leadership team now consists of seven brokers with a combined industry experience of nearly 250 years and the firm currently has four locations across Martin and Palm Beach counties, more than 80 full-time associates, and an exceptional team of support staff. Water Pointe boasts several recipients of the prestigious Realtor® of the Year title as well as awards for community service.

I never could have imagined when we started this venture that I would have the opportunity to work with and become friends with some of the best people I know.”

On February 23, 2023, Water Pointe Realty Group landed right back at Harry & the Natives,  gathering its associates & staff to celebrate the 20th Anniversary and all the firm has accomplished.

Water Pointe Realty Group is excited to announce two agents joining the firm. Charles “Chuck” Whitfield and Debra “Debi” Whitfield are husband & wife, and will be working as a team out of the Sewall’s Point office.

Chuck has lived most of his life in Florida. He was hooked on Stuart ever since he drove up from Boca Raton one weekend to visit a lifelong friend.  The people he met in Stuart were very nice, extremely kind and no one “Honked their Horn”.  He moved to Stuart in 2001 and secured a job at Ballantrae Golf and Yacht club where he sold real estate for the next few years.

When the Ballantrae project sold out, Chuck bought and sold properties as an investor until he placed his license with Sailfish Point Real Estate. He also worked there as a personal trainer.  Several of his real estate clients were originated in the fitness center and it worked well for him and his clients! His passion in life has always been fitness, and he majored in physical education in college.

He had the opportunity to open a weight loss center in Stuart and joined the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in 2010. He studied Hormone Replacement therapy and opened another center in Palm Beach Gardens and another in Boca Raton specializing in anti-aging! He sold the company a few years later to an international company out of Miami and stayed on for a period of time as a consultant.

Debi was born in Ohio and raised in South Florida.  She has lived and worked on the Treasure Coast for 25 years.  She recently retired from the title insurance business, having been in the real estate title and closing business for 38 years, most recently with First American Title.  Together, Debi & Chuck love helping others buy and sell real estate.  They are very active at Grace Place Church where Chuck helped found the Celebrate Recovery Ministry 18 years ago, and is still active today. Debi is a musician and plays guitar, keyboard and background vocals in the ministry band.  They also enjoy boating in the most beautiful waters on the East Coast of Florida- in Martin County!

Water Pointe Realty Group is excited to announce that Cassady Bettencourt has joined the firm as its newest Realtor®.

Cassady was born & raised in Northern California where she grew up around the real estate and construction industries. After spending time visiting the Jupiter/Tequesta area in 2017, she immediately fell in love with the gorgeous blue waters and cozy community. Cassady now calls the Village of Tequesta home!

A passion for providing remarkable service allows Cassady to build trusting relationships with her clients. Her warm personality will make you feel at home while she guides you in finding ideal homes in a place she calls “paradise.” Prior to joining Water Pointe Realty Group, Cassady gained experience in Interior Design. Her skills give her a unique position to benefit her clients and their new home in more ways than just the sale.

When she isn’t working, Cassady enjoys boating to the beautiful sandbars, cooking, traveling, and taking walks with her yellow Labrador Retriever, Bear. She also loves working out at Orange Theory and attends Christ Fellowship Church in Jupiter.

Sean Quinn’s family moved to Martin County in 1976. After graduating from Martin County High School, he attended New Mexico Military Institution before being appointed to the United States Naval Academy. After his military service, he worked with Booz Allen Hamilton as a project manager and business development lead. This knowledge lended itself well when Sean returned to Florida to begin his career as a Realtor®, following in his parents’ footsteps, Bill and Francine, who have been real estate agents since the 1970s.

Anne Warner, originally from Minnesota, attended Bemidji State University where she received her degree in Sports Management. After arriving in Florida with her family, she began her career in education then transitioned into real estate on the Treasure Coast. Her experience as an educator has served her well with her clients and now her neighbors of Sewall’s Point.

A former White House Correspondent, news producer, interior design firm owner – Maggie Mell brings many experiences to her real estate career.  She has been a licensed real estate agent and interior designer in Minnesota for many years, and is not new to real estate or the sunshine state at all. She has called Florida home since 1982 living in the Jupiter/Tequesta area, and recently designed and renovated her current home in Tequesta.

Maggie believes real estate and interior design always  go hand-in-hand and she enjoys doing both for her clients. She has an incredible eye for design and uses her skills to benefit her buyers and sellers alike; overall she loves helping her clients find pride in their home. Maggie believes in the art of negotiation, prepping homes for sale, and most importantly easing the burden and stress for her real estate clients. This passion is truly evident in her real estate success!

Maggie has earned 3 academic degrees including a Master’s in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, a degree in Interior Design, and a Bachelor’s in Speech and English. She and her husband John have 4 adult children who currently live in the Midwest and on the East Coast. She is an avid volunteer and currently works on a committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Martin County Realtors® of the Treasure Coast have named Anne Warner of Water Pointe Realty Group as the recipient of the 2022 Community Service Award. This marks the fourth time a Water Pointe agent has received this honorable recognition.

The Realtors® and staff of Water Pointe Realty Group are encouraged to get involved with causes they are passionate about, and Anne Warner truly stands as a pillar of this. Her tiresome commitment and involvement in service to the community makes her beyond worthy of this accomplishment.

Anne’s love for connecting people, networking, and helping others are not only evident in her business, but also the way she lives her life daily. Her in-depth knowledge of her community gives her a unique platform both as a Realtor® and in giving back in the best way possible.

“Love like butter – spread it everywhere,” Anne Warner said. Her message is simple yet the intention is fierce.

Anne has a special place in her heart for programs that advocate for children and their families in times of need. She is involved with Madison’s Miracles, a nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to grieving parents who have experienced still birth and infant loss. Both Anne and her Partner, Sean Quinn, have participated in Madison’s Miracles Celebrity Chef event. She also works with Hibiscus Children’s Center and hosted a “Foster a Bear” campaign in efforts to raise awareness and funding for the center’s various programs to maintain safe shelter for at-risk children.

Water Pointe Realty Group is beyond proud that Martin County Realtors® of the Treasure Coast has named Janice Norman 2022 Realtor® of the Year. This marks the seventh time a Water Pointe agent has received this prestigious honor.

Janice has lived on the Treasure Coast for more than 30 years and having raised her family here she has seen the community bloom. Her philosophy is to love the area you serve, and that giving back is of paramount importance. Given her numerous designations, awards, and offices held over the years, she truly embodies this.

With her skillset, Janice Norman can aid any type of client with their needs. She holds extensive knowledge of the area that benefits buyers who are relocating or first-time homebuyers. Holding a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation in combination with her nursing experience puts her in a unique position to be an asset to retirees and senior citizens.

“I became a successful Realtor® 18 years ago with the support of members of Martin Country Realtors® of the Treasure Coast who mentored me and encouraged my continued work in the community in which I am so enthusiastic about,” Janice Norman said.

Janice is the 2021 Charlene Hoag Leadership Award recipient, a prestigious award for outstanding contributions, community leadership, and dedication to Martin County. She is the founder of the Christian Business Coffee, past chair of the Stuart – Martin Chamber of Commerce; past chair of Catch the Wave of Hope, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting human trafficking; and has served many nonprofits including Visionary School of Arts and Soroptimist International of Stuart, of which she was named a Woman of Distinction for volunteerism in 2017. She is a graduate of LEADERship Martin County as well as past chair of its alumni board. Martin County Realtors® also presented Janice with the 2019 Distinguished Service Award, 2007 Community Service Award.
